Section 1– Beef Breeding Cattle

(Health Rules)

  1. Entries close at 7:00 pm on August 15. Cattle must be on exhibit by 4:00 pm Wednesday of the Fair. Entry fee $2.00 per animal.
  2. Out of county animal entries will be accepted and held until all in-county animals are accommodated. If there will not be enough stall space, out of county entrants will be notified as soon as possible.
  3. Joint ownership considered to be as one in accordance with registration papers.
  4. When on exhibition in the ring, each animal must be under halter and in charge of the owner or owner’s representatives.
  5. All animals must be securely tied by neck in the stall areas.
  6. Judging will be Friday.

Section 4- Beef Good Housekeeping Awards

  1. Cattle Exhibitors who maintain the most attractive and sanitary exhibits will be eligible for awards.
  2. All cattle exhibitors will be scored on the following basis:
    Beef Good Housekeeping AwardsPoints
    Cleanliness of Animals20
    Cleanliness of bedding20
    Entry card, and ribbons won, properly displayed with animal20
    Keeping grain and hay feed presentable10
    Keeping all equipment sanitary and neat10
    Keeping aisles clean20
    TOTAL100
  3. Inspections to be made unannounced. No inspections on the first day of the fair.
  4. Must score a minimum of 80 points per day to be eligible for the premiums.

Prizes:    1st- $30.00    2nd- $25.00    3rd- $20.00
