  1. Entry fee will be $2.00 per animal. Entries will close at 7:00 pm on August 15.
  2. Out of county animal entries will be accepted and held until all in-county animals are accommodated. If there will not be enough stall space, out of county entrants will be notified as soon as possible.
  3. Exhibitors must have all animals listed for competition on the grounds not later than 4:00 pm on Wednesday of the fair. All such animals shall remain on the premises until last day of the Fair,  Monday after 5 am.
  4. Judging will be Friday.

Section 1 – Breeding Sheep

Any animal of unthrifty nature, unsuitable condition, or which cannot be satisfactorily handled under show conditions must be removed from the Fairgrounds.

Section 3 – Wool

Wool exhibited must be produced in the area of the Fair. No premiums will be awarded in any class unless the exhibits are worthy. The judges may withhold any premium for lack of merit.

Section 4- Sheep Good Housekeeping Awards

  1. Sheep exhibitors who maintain the most attractive and sanitary exhibits will be eligible for awards.
  2. All sheep exhibits will be scored on the following basis:

    Cleanliness of Animals20
    Cleanliness of bedding20
    Entry card, and ribbons won, properly displayed with animal20
    Keeping grain and hay feed presentable10
    Keeping all equipment sanitary and neat10

  3. Inspections to be made unannounced. No inspections on the first day of the fair.
  4. Must score a minimum of 80 points per day to be eligible for premiums.

Prizes:   1st-$15.00    2nd-$10.00    3rd- $5.00
