DUE TO AVIAN INFLUENZA, THERE WILL BE NO POULTRY EXHIBITS AT THE 2022 SULLIVAN COUNTY FAIR. THIS INCLUDES EGGS.

  1. The fair reserves the right to return any or all entries.
  2. Entry fee will be $1.00 per bird. Entries close August 15.
  3. Exhibitor must provide all feed and care for birds daily. Exhibitors are limited to two birds per class per breed.
  4. Out of county animal entries will be accepted and held until all in-county animals are accommodated. If there will not be enough stall space, out of county entrants will be notified as soon as possible.
  5. Entered specimens must be bonafide property of the exhibitor.
  6. Birds must be on grounds before 4:00 pm Wednesday, September 2.  All poultry to be shown must originate from flocks tested and negative within twelve (12) months in accordance with the Pennsylvania Method for the Prevention, Control, and Eradication of Pollorum Disease, or an equivalent program.
  7. In the event of inclement weather conditions, the Sullivan County Fair Committee will release exhibits if deemed appropriate.
  8. Quails, Guineas, Pheasants, and Pea Fowl must be entered and shown in pairs (adult birds only).
  9. Birds hatched before January 1 of this year will be classed as cocks or hens. Those hatched after that date will be classed as cockerels or pullets.
  10. No out of state birds will be accepted.
  11. Judging Saturday.
